    Statement of Candidacy
I am very honored to be nominated for the office of SASFAA Vice President. It would be a privilege for me to serve the association in this capacity.

One of SASFAA’s long-standing traditions is that of providing excellent training and professional development opportunities. I have had the great privilege and honor of serving as an instructor for the weeklong New Aid Officers workshop for two years. I have served as a presenter for several workshops during the SASFAA conferences. Also, I have served my state association, AASFAA, as well in the capacity of training officer. I believe that these experiences have prepared me to successfully carry out the responsibilities of the office of SASFAA Vice President.

I would welcome the opportunity to serve SASFAA and my colleagues as Vice President.
