Information Pertaining to the Nominations and Elections Process of SASFAA
Ron Day, Past President and Chair of the Nominations and Elections Committee

At the November 5 - 7, 2004 SASFAA Board meeting, the Chair of Nominations and Elections Committee presented to the Board a slate of candidates who met the criteria for the offices of President-Elect, Vice President, and Treasurer. The Board approved the following slate as presented by Ron Day, Past President, who chairs the Nominations and Elections Committee:

President-Elect	Leonard Gude, Florida
	Brent Tener, Tennessee
Vice President	Maureen McFarlane, Florida
	Deborah Tollefson, North Carolina
Treasurer	Heather Boutell, Kentucky
	Paul Mittelhammer, Georgia

Each candidate is featured in the December edition of the SASFAA Newsletter. You will find statements of candidacy, vitae, and photographs for each candidate.

As per section 6.13.1, Nominations, in the SASFAA Policy and Procedure Manual, 2002 Edition, the following information is provided to the SASFAA membership:

For those memberships who will be attending the Annual Conference, SASFAA will be instituting online voting for the first time. You will want to make sure you remember your username and password so you may vote online in Atlanta. More instructions will be forthcoming on the SASFAA Listserv. Also, information concerning voting onsite at the Annual Conference will be given during the opening session of the Annual Conference. For those SASFAA members who are unable to attend the Annual Conference, an absentee ballot is available for print..
