Statement
I want to thank the Nominations and Election Committee and the SASFAA
Board for accepting my candidacy for the position of SASFAA Treasurer
and for my colleagues in Georgia for supporting me in this endeavor.
I welcome the opportunity to server SASFAA by working as the Treasurer
for the organization for the next two years. Through my involvement
with our state association, I have learned the value of SASFAA and
the support it provides to the financial aid community. I first benefited
from the services of SASFAA by attending the New Aid Officers workshop
in 1995 and developed friendships and contacts that have helped me
in my career. As a beneficiary of the training and knowledge from
SASFAA peers I believe I am prepared to serve this organization as
treasurer.
