Edamerica Welcomes Michael Morgan To Marketing Team
Knoxville, TN – Edamerica welcomes Michael Morgan to the Southeast marketing team. Morgan will represent Edmerica in the states of Kentucky and Virginia effective immediately. Formerly with the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA)/The Student Loan People, Morgan will report directly to Karen Gibson, vice president and director of the Southeast Region.

“Michael’s background in financial aid and guarantor experience will enable him to provide outstanding customer service throughout his territory,” says Gibson. “He brings a wealth of knowledge to our region.” At KHEAA, Morgan monitored and evaluated the grant and scholarship programs and was responsible for designing and implementing Kentucky’s grant delivery system. Prior to his stint with KHEAA, Morgan was associate director of financial aid at Transylvania University. He has almost 15 years of industry experience. Morgan is a graduate of the University of Kentucky.

Crestone International Announces Promotions for VIRGINIA-Based Jennifer Hulvey and Paul Martin
Effective immediately, Ms. Hulvey will be leading new initiatives at Crestone in Student Loan Services and BPM. Her fourteen-year background in the industry includes positions such as Former Director of Financial Aid at Southern Seminary College, Former Associate Director and Systems Manager of Financial Aid at James Madison University, and Student Loan Associate for Bank of America. During her tenure at Crestone, Ms. Hulvey has held a variety of positions focused on our Higher Education initiatives since 2001.

Also effective immediately, Paul Martin accepts his promotion to the Practice Director of Student Administration at Crestone. With an initial focus on PeopleSoft for Higher Education, Paul will be executing a growth strategy within his practice to support Crestone’s new initiatives in Student Loan Services and BPM. Paul’s thirteen-year track record in the Higher Education industry includes a strong focus in Financial Aid with former positions such as Student Loan Coordinator at Radford University in Radford, VA, and Associate Director of Financial Aid at JMU. As President-Elect of VASFAA, Paul joined Crestone in January 2001 as a Financial Aid consultant.


Academic Management Services (AMS) Names Sara Sensenbach and Sandy McKee Senior Account Managers for Southeast Loan Clients
Sensenbach, of Ponte Vedra, Fla., will be responsible for developing and maintaining AMS business relationships with campus Financial Aid offices in North Carolina, South Carolina, and parts of Georgia.

Now an AMS senior account manager, Sensenbach joins the company with more than 12 years of experience at EdFirst/Chase and prior experience with Sallie Mae, AMS’s parent company.

Sandy McKee, an AMS senior account manager based in Cordova, Tenn., will cover Alabama and Mississippi. McKee had been with EdFirst/Chase team since 1997. Prior to EdFirst/Chase, she served as coordinator of financial aid at the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, and assistant director of financial aid and the University of Tennessee at Memphis.

"Sara and Sandy bring a wealth of experience in education lending as well as strong relationships at their schools," said Judith Grassi, president of AMS.
