Candidate for SASFAA Secretary
Deborah W. Byrd
Candidate Statement
It
is an honor and privilege to be nominated for the office of secretary.
SASFAA has established itself as a leader in innovation and training
for institutions. Our commitment to providing quality and accurate
financial aid information to parents and students remains undiminished.
If elected, I pledge to carry out the duties of this office faithfully
with integrity.
I am not new to the SASFAA executive board, having served as its
Newsletter Editor in 1991-1993 and president of AASFAA in 2003-2004.
My previous experience as secretary of AASFAA has prepared me for
this awesome responsibility. It requires a person who is organized,
detailed, and uncompromisingly committed. My ability and availability
are only enhanced by my accessibility to serve this illustrious organization.
