Report
from the Treasurer SASFAA’s Annual Conference has come and gone, and Treasurer Boutell wants to thank the many people that helped make her job so much easier. The North Carolina Local Arrangements Committee, under the wonderful leadership of Sherri Avent, helped make the pre-paid side of registration flow so smoothly. The Conference Committee worked to make sure that all of the little details of the Conference worked themselves out. They spent a great deal of time and energy on the conference, and on helping to make the time at Registration Desk VI bearable! Special thanks go out also to Juanita Russell, who made the best nametags in the history of SASFAA, and to Keith Reeves, who kept our Vendors and Sponsors happy and comfortable in the Vendor Area. Conference registrations continue to come for New Aid Officers Workshop in Asheville, North Carolina. Payments will be accepted via credit card on the web and on site in Asheville. Checks of course can still be sent to Heather Boutell at the address on the invoice. A special committee met in Greensboro, North Carolina, to review SASFAA’s financial policies and procedures. Another meeting will be held in Lexington, Kentucky on April 20. If you have any concerns, please contact Heather Boutell or Susan Little and they will be taken for consideration to the meeting.
