Vendor/Sponsor Committee Report

Sponsorship of SASFAA activities reached an all-time high during the 2005-06 year. Sixty-nine organizations provided over $224,000 in direct support for various events and functions during the year. Sponsorship and amounts are classified as follows:

• Newsletter Advertising – $23,175
• Banner Advertising on Web Site – $26,650
• Conference Sponsorship – $154,058
• Miscellaneous Sponsorship – $ 20,996

In addition to direct sponsorship, indirect sponsorship is also provided by sponsors when they pay directly for the cost of activities, events and materials.

On behalf of the membership, SASFAA wishes to thank all of our sponsors for their generous support. The level and quality of service and training provided by SASFAA would not be possible without the support of our sponsors.

Sponsorship opportunities for the 2006-07 year will be available on the web site in August.

Special Project Report
Susan Little

The work done by Sandy Neal on the Policy and Procedures Manual and Heather Boutell on the Guide to Financial Management for SASFAA has been very thorough. It has been very rewarding to work with these two very competent officers and their committees on revising the guidelines for how our association works. I believe the Board and the membership will be pleased with their work, and these documents will guide the association well into the future.

Work has been completed on a proposal for the Board on electronic storage of our archived materials as well as on how we should be handling our scholarship and other special investment funds. When Board approval has been given to these proposals, the membership will be notified in the next newsletter.
