SASFAA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the educational and professional needs of financial aid administrators within the area encompassed by Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. SASFAA respects the privacy of its membership and adheres to the policies outlined below:

General
All content on this web site is for the personal use of SASFAA members and the public. Any commercial use or publication is strictly prohibited. SASFAA does not assume responsibility for or endorse the content of any other web site page reached via a link displayed here.

Your IP address is used only to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site. Any personal information collected is retained by SASFAA for use in membership related activities - directories, registration lists, mailings. No information is shared with or sold to a third party.

Addresses
Members' addresses, both postal and electronic, are privileged information and are not sold to outside entities. This information is only available to the membership for Association business.

Individuals are encouraged to always maintain an accurate email address in the Association's database. Members may update their demographic information by accessing the Member Services section of the SASFAA website.

Elections
SASFAA uses electronic balloting for Association elections. Privacy standards are in place to ensure the confidentiality of voters' choices.

Surveys
SASFAA may survey the membership periodically for feedback regarding training needs, conference preferences, and other Association activities or projects. The identities of individual respondents are protected in order to guarantee confidentiality.

Expectations of Members
Some sections of the SASFAA website are dedicated to members only. SASFAA members are expected to respect the privacy of these limited access areas of the website by not sharing their user id or password with others.

Links to Other Internet Sites
SASFAA is not responsible for the privacy guidelines of internet sites which may be linked through the SASFAA webpage. Refer to the individual site's policy statement on privacy standards.
