Audience: Financial Aid Professionals with more than basic financial aid experience
Workshop dates: Thursday, May 29 – Saturday, May 31, 2008
Start time will be 1:00pm on Thursday and will conclude by 12:30pm on Saturday.
Location: Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Airport- Louisville, KY
Free shuttle from Louisville Standiford Field (SDF) airport
- Compliance Issues - OIG, audit issues, top ten compliance issues, satisfactory progress
- The EFC - understanding and adjusting FM (hand calc, PJ, dependency overrides)
- Ethics - establishing ethical boundaries, lender lists, current legislation, ethical scenarios
- Resources – college access programs, financial literacy and credit & others
plus good food, fellowship, and a fun outing to Churchill Downs
Workshop cost: $175 per SASFAA member – $200 per non-member, if
registration is completed by May 2, 2008. A $50 late registration fee will be
charged for registrations completed after May 2, 2008.
Workshop fee includes dinner on Thursday, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on
Friday, and breakfast on Saturday. Friday night’s dinner will be a buffet in
Millionaires’ Row at Churchill Downs.
