The 2017 SASFAA New Aid Officers' Workshop (NAOW) is a unique training experience designed to train those relatively new to Financial Aid Profession in the legislation, regulation, polices and procedures of Federal Student Financial Aid.  

Using the NASFAA training materials and selected NASFAA University courses, graduates will return to the office with a great toolbox of knowledge and resources.  The week of training will help participants find, renew and ignite their passions as they gain a better understanding of their purposes.  Making positive impacts on their campuses, in their state and throughout the region.   

The 2017 NAOW will take place on the campus of Jacksonville State University, in Jacksonville, AL. 

June 19-24, 2017

The registration fee includes all instructional materials, housing (June 19th -24th ), most meals, and SASFAA 2017-2018 membership. 

Workshop Registration Fee - $675*

 

PLEASE NOTE: Current 2016-2017 SASFAA Membership is required to register for the 2016 SASFAA New Aid Officers Workshop in the Summer. If you have not already done so, submit your membership application before you submit your registration for the workshop.  The 2017-2018 membership is then activated when that year begins in July.

 

Payments                                                 
Advance payment is required.  Registrants may not attend class if payment has not been received by the SASFAA Treasurer.  Payments are due by May 19th or a late fee of $50 will be applied. 

Credit card payments may be made during the registration process.  To pay by credit card after registration has been completed, access the on-line payment option on the SASFAA website with login credentials (email address and password).

Checks must be received by the SASFAA Treasurer by June 9, 2017, or the attendee must bring the check to the event (and include late payment fee).   

Cancellation Policy

Registration fee is fully refundable through May 19, 2017.   After May 19th, 2017, there is no refund. The date the refund request is received by the SASFAA Treasurer will determine if there will be a refund.
