Candidate for President Elect

 William (Bill) Spiers

Statement of Candidacy

It is an honor to have been selected as a candidate for the position of President-Elect for SASFAA.  The opportunity to serve the SASFAA membership is a tremendous privilege.  If elected I welcome the opportunity to represent you and your needs as a professional financial aid administrator.  Without professional association like SASFAA, NASFAA, and FASFAA I would have missed opportunities to grow in my knowledge and respect for the difficult, and often times near impossible, work with which we are tasked.  Since 1983 I have been a director of a financial aid. The friendships, guidance, and support from SASFAA have been instrumental in my professional growth, and because of this I would be honored to have the opportunity to give back to our association.  If elected I will do my best to serve you the membership.  We are facing multiple challenges over the next few years, and I stand ready to face those challenges as we work side by side to ensure the students have the resources needed to achieve their dreams.
