Candidate for Treasurer Elect

 Leah Louallen

Statement of Candidacy

It is an absolute privilege to be nominated for the office of SASFAA Treasurer-Elect. If elected, I vow to shadow the SASFAA Treasurer and ensure the transfer of knowledge is intact at the end of their term. I will make it my complete objective to ensure the continued fiscal health of SASFAA.  Participating in TASFAA and more recently SASFAA have truly defined who I am professionally and it would be an absolute honor to serve SASFAA in any capacity.  These associations have provided me with unmeasurable hours of training, mentors, countless networking opportunities and lifelong friends.

I stumbled into this profession quite accidently. The deal was sealed and 18 years later I am exactly where I was always supposed to be. I have a passion for helping students navigate higher education in hopes that I can make a tiny difference in their story. Many SASFAA and TASFAA friends played a significant role in my story and I am incredibly grateful for the investment they made in me.

If elected SASFAA Treasurer-Elect, I pledge to serve SASFAA and its members with integrity and will honor its strong history. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and appreciate your consideration.
