The SASFAA New Aid Officer Workshop (NAOW) provides a unique opportunity to learn how to be a knowledgeable and compassionate administrator of financial aid. The NAOW staff averages more than 15 years of financial aid experience and are active in their schools, state and region.  In this week long training we will not only provide participants with understanding of federal aid concepts we will lay the ground work for a lifelong passion for the profession. This workshop is recommended for professionals with three years of financial experience or less.  However, participants with up to five years of limited financial aid experience may find this workshop beneficial.

In addition to topics that prepare you for your everyday job, SASFAA New Aid Officer Workshop uses NASFAA Credentialing topics throughout the week.  Participants will receive access to learning guides and handouts from NASFAA U as part of the cost of the workshop.  Participants may also have the opportunity to test in certain subjects taught throughout the week at no additional cost.  Here are a list of NASFAA U subjects we will potentially cover throughout the week.
