The 2025 SASFAA New Aid Officers' Workshop (NAOW) is a unique training experience designed to train those relatively new to Financial Aid Profession in the legislation, regulation, polices and procedures of Federal Student Financial Aid.
Using the NASFAA training materials and selected NASFAA University courses, graduates will return to the office with a great toolbox of knowledge and resources. The week of training will help participants find, renew and ignite their passions as they gain a better understanding of their purposes. Making positive impacts on their campuses, in their state and throughout the region.
The 2025 NAOW will take place on the campus of Spartanburg Methodist College (SMC), in Spartanburg, SC.
June 8-13, 2025
The registration fee includes all instructional materials, housing (June 8-13th), most meals, and SASFAA 2025-2026 membership.
Workshop Registration Fee - $750
Non-Member Registration Fee - $785
PLEASE NOTE: Current 2024-2025 SASFAA Membership is required to register for the 2025 SASFAA New Aid Officers Workshop in the Summer. If you are not a member, selecting Non-Member Registration will give you membership for the remaining month of 2024-2025. The 2025-2026 membership is then activated when that year begins in July.
Payments
Advance payment is required. Registrants may not attend class if payment has not been received by the SASFAA Treasurer. Registrations after May 19, 2025 will have a late fee of $50 applied.
Credit card payments may be made during the registration process. To pay by credit card after registration has been completed, access the on-line payment option on the SASFAA website with login credentials (email address and password).
Checks must be received by the SASFAA Treasurer by May 27, 2025, or the attendee must bring the check to the event (and include late payment fee).
Cancellation Policy
To cancel your registration, email the SASFAA Treasurer at sasfaatreasurer@gmail.com.
Registration fee is fully refundable through May 19, 2025; for non-member registration fee, $35 is not refundable. After May 19th, 2025, no refunds for either registration type will be issued. The date the refund request is received by the SASFAA Treasurer will determine if there will be a refund.
