The SASFAA New Aid Officer Workshop (NAOW) provides a unique opportunity to learn how to be a knowledgeable and compassionate administrator of financial aid. The NAOW staff averages more than 15 years of financial aid experience and are active in their schools, state, and region.  In this weeklong training we not only provide participants with understanding of federal aid concepts, but we also lay the groundwork for a lifelong passion for the profession. This workshop is recommended for professionals with three years of financial experience or less.  However, participants with up to five years of limited financial aid experience may find this workshop beneficial.

SASFAA New Aid Officer Workshop utilizes NASFAA Credentialing topics throughout the week.  Participants will receive access to learning guides and handouts from NASFAA U as part of the cost of the workshop.  Participants will also have the opportunity to earn credentials in certain subjects taught throughout the week at no additional cost.
