SASFAA Webinar Series
Thinking About NAOW? Hear It Straight from Those Who’ve Been There!
Description:
Join us for a short, informative webinar hosted by former instructors and past participants of the SASFAA New Aid Officers’ Workshop (NAOW). They’ll share firsthand insights into what makes NAOW a transformative, hands‑on training experience for financial aid professionals in their first five years.
Learn how NAOW builds confidence with Federal Student Aid laws, regulations, and daily practices—and how NASFAA training materials and University courses equip attendees with tools they can use immediately back in their offices. You’ll also hear how the weeklong experience helps new professionals reconnect with their purpose and enthusiasm for serving students.
The 2026 NAOW will be held June 14–19, 2026, on the campus of Thomas More University in Crestview Hills, KY, and includes instruction, housing, most meals, and SASFAA membership.
Whether you’re new to the profession or supporting new staff, this webinar is a great way to learn why NAOW matters—and how it can make a lasting impact on careers, campuses, and the region.
