The FAFSA Simplification Act and the Fostering Undergraduate Talent by Unlocking Resources for Education (Future Act), the 2024–25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) includes unprecedented changes to how students and families apply for federal student aid and how eligibility is determined, giving students a better and simpler experience with the FAFSA form. While we anticipate a better and simpler experience for our students and families, epic changes will occur requiring significant changes to the current systems and procedures on campus that are utilized to deliver Title IV student aid. The work to be done is overwhelming. This session is to expose you to some ideas and tools on how to create a FAFSA Simplification Plan and how to project manage all the various aspects of these laws to ensure successful implementation. |
