SASFAA Director's Summit 

Please plan to join us for the 4th Annual SASFAA Director’s Summit to be held as a pre-conference program on February 24th and 25th in Orlando, Florida.

This event will bring together chief financial aid directors for high-level discussions relevant to financial aid administration in today's world.

Please note you must be considered the chief financial aid officer for your institution with a minimum of 5 years experience in that role.

Sunday, February 25, 2024; 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM 

You will learn the principles and purposes of the student budget construction process, gain an understanding of how to build student budgets (including sources for setting the value of cost components), learn about the various allowable budget components and restrictions for certain categories of students, and become familiar with budget recalculations and the impact of non-Title IV aid on the cost of attendance. Completion of this self-study guide qualifies individuals to take the corresponding NASFAA Professional Credential test.

Deep Dive into the 2024-25 Pell Grant Calculations

Take a deep dive into the new Pell Grant minimums and maximums, and the new methodologies used to calculate a student’s scheduled award in between the minimum and maximum Pell Grant.

Earning the FAAC® designation is an investment in your continued professional development and career growth. While most certification candidates have relied on personal knowledge and independent review to prepare for the knowledge exam, NASFAA will make a new opportunity available soon to help candidates prepare. Through a special partnership between NASFAA and SASFAA, the new NASFAA Certification Exam Preparation Workshop will be offered at the SASFAA Conference in February.
