Statement of Candidacy
I am honored to be considered for the position of SASFAA Secretary. I began my career in student financial aid in 1999, in a position that was supposed to be a quick stop until I “figured out what I wanted to do with my life”. Almost 23 years later I think this is it! I have developed a love and passion for what we do, and I want to bring that spirit to the SASFAA membership by service to the membership. I have been a SASFAA member since 2004 and feel that I would bring a lot to the position, including a strong work ethic and organizational skills. If elected Secretary I will ensure to keep accurate records for the association and send that information in a timely manner. I will work to keep Bylaws and Manuals up to date, and will work with the President to meet SASFAA’s goals. |
